more on sustainabilityWhat else sets us apart?
We cooperate with Westfalenfleiß in Münster and ProWerk Bethel, because inclusion always starts with yourself. People with and without special challenges work closely together in our production.
Because the compatibility of family and work is also very important to us, we have a partnership with the family cooperative. Our employees can call on the help of specialist counsellors there. Family cooperatives provide advice and support in the context of care and social counselling, for example on the topics of care, parental leave and parental allowance or health.

HEBIE GROUP DEPARTMENTS AT A GLANCE
PLASTICS PROCESSING
JOB PROFILES IN THE DEPARTMENT:
- Process mechanics for plastics and rubber technology, specialising in moulded parts
- Master craftsman for plastics and rubber technology
- Production assistants
We manufacture our high-quality plastic components in our injection moulding shop using state-of-the-art machinery. The injection moulding process is used here, which is efficient and conserves resources. With our flexibly designed machinery, we have always produced our plastic components ourselves, without any delivery routes. Any run-in and reject parts are shredded and fed directly back into the production process.
Our staff know the critical quality parameters precisely and sort out imperfect products ruthlessly. Production assistants are deployed in two shifts for this task. In some cases, the employees pack the items directly for the specialist retailer so that the sales staff can easily stock their shelves.
Training is essential to expand and secure expertise and tradition. That is why we also train process mechanics for plastics technology specialising in moulded parts ourselves.
FINAL ASSEMBLY
JOB PROFILES IN THE DEPARTMENT:
- Production assistants
- Machine and plant operators / setters
Individual components are assembled into a high-quality and durable stand on assembly systems developed in-house. We are constantly developing our systems to meet the latest requirements. The individual components of the stands come almost exclusively from our own injection moulding and stamping shop.
Our team of specialists combines speed, skill, and the highest standards of quality. We are also very committed to working with Bethel and offer integrated workplaces for people with disabilities.
METAL PROCESSING
JOB PROFILES IN THE DEPARTMENT:
- Production assistants
- Machine and plant operators / setters
For decades, semi-finished parts for bicycle accessories have been shaped here from high-quality steel, aluminium and stainless steel. We produce a large proportion of the metal components for our products ourselves in our in-house stamping shop. This means that we are in control of the quality from the steel coil to the stand head. We can also react flexibly to short-term requirements at any time. Only the galvanizing and coating are carried out by local external specialists.
The employees deployed here are skilled and semi-skilled workers from the entire spectrum of metalworking. Due to the high level of vertical integration and the associated product diversity, the workplace is very varied. The team is a good mix of experienced older and young dynamic colleagues. The individual workstations are also optimally ergonomically designed. We are also very committed to working with Bethel and offer integrated workplaces for people with disabilities.
This department offers the following manufacturing processes:
- Stamping
- Reshaping
- Drilling
- Bending
- Welding
Good to know: We have developed and built many of the tools we use ourselves in our toolmaking department.
ALUMEE
JOB PROFILES IN THE DEPARTMENT:
- Production assistants
- Setters (with metal training)
- Shift supervisors
In the Alumee department, high-quality aluminium mudguards for bicycles and e-bikes are manufactured to customer specifications. These are the result of a well thought-out system of modern machines, sophisticated work processes and very close quality assurance.
The technical equipment includes bending machines, mitre saws, eccentric stamping machines, a CNC milling machine and the heart of the department – the machining centre. The various systems are set up by the installers. Operation is then carried out by production assistants.
The department is characterised by varied activities, a good working atmosphere, a young team and good career opportunities. We are also very committed to working with Bethel and offer integrated workplaces for people with disabilities.

JOB PROFILES IN THE DEPARTMENT:

What will the bicycle of tomorrow look like? This is precisely the question we are addressing in the design phase. However, it’s not just about design studies, but about tangible products with one of our 8000 OEM partners from the bicycle sector. Here we construct in the area of conflict between design, price and functional requirements of the customer, manufacturing requirements from production and our own safety and quality requirements. The nice thing is that we get all the products ourselves in the sample stage for testing and later see them on the road.
When it comes to the bike of the day after tomorrow, we like to develop new designs. But we are also happy to test the technical limits in our own QA laboratory. We manufacture most of the test specimens in-house. The sample workshop is equipped with a 3D printer. CNC milling and turning, wire-cut and die-sinking erosion, bending benches, water jet machine, welding robot and, above all, very capable colleagues, well equipped.
