SUSTAINABLE ON THE MOVE

Mobile. Consciously. Effective.

Our philosophy: Maintaining and shaping quality of life

Christian Junker

Christian Junker

CEO HEBIE GROUP

Over the past few decades, the balance has tilted, with economic pressure often overshadowing social responsibility and environmental limits. We want to help redress that imbalance by giving ecological and social concerns the same weight as financial ones in the decisions we make. The real challenge lies in enabling industries, businesses and even entire economies to grow without consuming more and more natural resources.

Actively shaping the future

Sustainability in the HEBIE GROUP

Sustainability requires imagination. It challenges us to think beyond the here and now. Many of the decisions we make today – for example, on decarbonisation or a more climate-friendly economy – will only have an impact years later. The same applies to the benefits. The links between today's decisions and future consequences often remain abstract. This is precisely why many people find it difficult to understand sustainability.

A clear sustainability strategy provides orientation. It serves as a guide, highlights key issues and goals, and opens up opportunities for dialogue. It outlines concrete steps and helps to make decisions transparent. In this way, we aim to strike a balance between environmental, social and economic aspects for our company and our stakeholders.

In the HEBIE GROUP, sustainability means being aware of our responsibility – today and for tomorrow. We see this path as a continuous learning and development process. Together with our brands hebie, racktime, tubus and CARL & MARTA, we are taking it step by step.

SNAPIT 2.0-ADAPTER SNAPIT 2.0 CONNECT

SNAPIT 2.0-ADAPTER
SNAPIT 2.0 CONNECT

Konkretes findest du dazu in unserem Nachhaltigkeitsbericht 2024.

Code of Conduct für Zulieferbetriebe

Code of Conduct für Zulieferbetriebe

Three-pillar model of sustainability

Our sustainable development is based on the three pillars of environment, economy and social responsibility. When making decisions, we strive to achieve the best possible compromise between these three dimensions of sustainability.

environment

Environmentally friendly production.

Our economic success depends largely on protecting the climate, soil, water, air and biodiversity. Production and consumption should have as little impact on the environment and natural resources as possible.

economy

Operating responsibly.

Our products are high-quality and modern. They combine function, design and durability – standing for safety and trust. We want to operate in a socially and environmentally responsible manner – in harmony with people and nature.

social responsibility

Acting in a socially just manner.

Acting sustainably and successfully is a joint task. Without good cooperation and the necessary attentiveness, this is not possible. Compliance with high social standards throughout the entire value chain is essential.

Icon Zitat

(Brundtland-Bericht, 1987)

Significance of our sustainability goals

We want to make a difference in the long term. And we set ourselves realistic goals to achieve this. We focus on economically sound strategies that support sustainable development. We see our goals as part of a very dynamic development that must be adaptable.

Icon CSR ECOLOGICAL ECOLOGICAL sustainability goals should contribute to our quality of life and a healthy natural environment.

“We take stock of our emissions at our site and within our supply chain on an annual basis and aim to continuously reduce CO₂ emissions. To this end, we are establishing a PCF (product carbon footprint) model and promoting transparency in the supply chain, for example.”

Icon CSR ECONOMIC ECONOMIC sustainability goals must be meaningful, have a long-term impact and offer genuine added value.

“Think about the end right from the start: circular design and business models should be considered and promoted, taking into account the possibility of sustainable materials for our products and value retention at the end of the product's useful life, such as through repairability or recycling of materials.”

Icon CSR Social SOCIAL sustainability goals should promote well-being and satisfaction in the working and living environment.

“We want to continue providing our key stakeholders with regular, transparent and honest information about our social, environmental and economic developments in the form of a sustainability report.”

You can find our strategic and operational goals with ongoing measures and developments in our Sustainability Report 2024.

Anführungszeichen

The HEBIE GROUP wants its actions to make a positive contribution to the environment and society. To this end, we take a close look at risks, challenges and current events. The focus is on avoiding emissions and using resources and primary raw materials sparingly. This also includes sustainable supply chains (reduction of Scope 3 emissions).

Integrity, transparency and traceability guide our actions. We make these and other principles visible – among other things, in our voluntary sustainability reporting and through clear key performance indicators. (See Sustainability Report, page 4|5)

Our customers should be able to make informed decisions, including from a sustainability perspective. Sustainable packaging, reusable solutions and circular approaches throughout the entire product life cycle are becoming increasingly important.

CSR Logo

CSR is such a key part of who we are that we treat it almost like a brand in its own right. In 2024, we created a dedicated logo during an internal stakeholder consultation, linking it to the yellow HEBIE GROUP ring. The logo shows two hands shaking to form a heart. CSR is about more than protecting the environment; it’s about being socially aware at every level – and that starts with each of us.

The guiding principle “Be mindful” is intended to encourage everyone to actively help shape a more sustainable environment – be it in their personal lives through conscious consumption, or professionally by developing and marketing sustainable products.

To us, the colour yellow represents positivity, energy, change and progress.
